Maintaining the existing front two bedrooms and a very tasteful ensuite, the project comprised the addition of an architectual extension to the rear of the property, with a roofline comprising of five different pitches, creating an interesting extension of triangles, voids and the occasional skillion roof.

Unique aspects of this build were:

  • providing a sound proof music room with a flush finish cavity slider door hiding in bathroom wall
  • a custom steel loft ladder with recycled Blackbutg timber stairs
  • sunken living room with special aggregate concrete and a double inserted flu and very nice wood heater
  • the kitchen was made with corian stone, a minimal two-pack look with very large drawers and a smokey mirror splash back.

We enjoyed building this project especially the challenging angles and crafting a high-quality unique finish across the board.
